Our History

INDEX’s story began in 1979 when Italian entrepreneur Giancarlo Parolo introduced precast concrete to Kuwait by producing elements for the foundations of the iconic Seif Palace. In 1981, he officially established INDEX, laying the groundwork for what would become one of Kuwait’s leading precast contractors.

Throughout the 1980s and early 1990s, the company delivered some of the country’s earliest and most recognizable precast projects, including the Al Muthana Complex in downtown Kuwait City, the MPW and National Housing Authority headquarters in South Surra, and extensive reconstruction work following the 1991 Gulf War, such as the Airport Cargo Building and Bayan Palace boundary wall.

In 2000, INDEX relocated its manufacturing plant to the Mina Abdullah Industrial Area, positioning itself to take on higher-volume and more complex projects. The facility—initially built on 20,000 square meters—was expanded in 2015 to 45,000 square meters, doubling its production capacity and allowing INDEX to diversify its capabilities across structural, architectural, and GFRC elements. This growth enabled the company to seamlessly handle both public and private sector work, from villas and residential buildings to large-scale government infrastructure.

Over the years, INDEX has become known for its technical expertise, hands-on leadership, and consistent delivery of high-quality precast solutions. Landmark achievements include the Scientific Center in Salmiya, the Chamber of Commerce Headquarters, industrial pipe racks for the Mina Al Zour refinery, and work on the ambitious Kuwait International Airport Terminal 2 and Hessa Al Mubarak development. Today, INDEX continues to lead the precast industry in Kuwait, combining decades of experience with innovation, precision, and a deep commitment to excellence
